Mykola Dovgalyov

Honored Artist of Ukraine

Born on 18th of December 1961 in Ternopil in an artistic family. 

Mykola Dovgalyov has got musical education at Ternopil musical college. He studied vocal at the preparatory studio at the Kyiv State Music Academy. He worked as a teacher in children music school.

Since 1986 he has been working іn Khmelnytsky Regional Philharmonic: first as aт artist of the ensemble of song and dance «Cossacks of Podillya», and since 2001 as s soloist-vocalist of the concert band «Alfresco», Organ Hall, chamber and symphony orchestras.

Magnificent voice, intelligence, subtle sense of style, touching, mental attitude to the song, stage expressiveness combined with high professionalism has become the artistic iconic style of a talented singer.

The large capacity and high cultural performance contributed to the fact that in 1988 Mykola Dovgalyov became a laureate of the Second variety song festival "Song Vernissage" in Kiev.

Mykola Dovhalov is the Honored Artist of Ukraine. He was  awarded with the Diploma and Honor of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine "for the achievements in the development of culture and art". He is a laureate of regional award named after V. Zaremba, repeatedly was awarded with the certificates of the Khmelnytsky Regional Council, Khmelnytsky Regional Administration and the Department of Culture of Ukraine.

Mykola Dovgalyov is deservedly called the golden voice of Podillya.

His repertoire includes works of national and world classics, Ukrainian folk songs, pop songs and songs by Podillya's authors.

In his creative path there are author concerts and artistic programs that have gained wide popularity and public love.
