All-Ukrainian contest "Podillya Lira"

The festival-competition aims to popularize the creation of Valery Yaretsky's People's Artist of Ukraine, the revival of folk traditions, customs and rituals, folk art, the development of contemporary Ukrainian vocal and choral art, the discovery of author's arrangements and the support of young talented conductors, the creation of creativity for children and adolescents communication.

The tasks of the contest-festival are: acquaintance with the artistic heritage of the People's Artist of the country Valery Yaretsky with the artistic culture of the regional contest participants; propaganda, support and development of vocal-choral art; the identification of talented performers, teams, teachers among the participants of the festival-contest and stimulation their creativity, education in the younger generation of understanding and love for world art, spiritual culture as the basis for the formation of the world, the involvement of children young people and adults to vocal and choral creativity, improving the performing skills of choirs, vocal ensembles, soloists, expanding repertoire horizons of participants in the festival-competition, establishing new friendly contacts between the participants of the competition-festival from different regions, mutual rapprochement of people and the opportunity to exchange experience works for teachers, executives of performing teams.

For participation in the festival, children's, educational, youth choir collectives of all types are invited: mixed and homogeneous, folk, vocal ensembles and choir chapels (including church and educational collectives with specialized musical-pedagogical educational institutions), students of conducting choral schools, secondary specialized schools of music , students of musical colleges, higher music schools; pedagogical colleges, universities, academies (with the specialty of choral conducting) and vocalists. Speeches to the jury are open to the audience.
